Foire aux questions
Mattress protectors work by covering your mattress with water-resistant and stain-resistant shield. A good mattress protector helps safeguard your mattress against all manner of damage and wear.
The Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector takes expectations to the next level, it’s not just water-resistant, it’s 100% waterproof with a 2.5” waterfall that extends protection down the sides of your mattress. Not only that, but it’s hypoallergenic + anti-microbial, which protects you and your mattress from environmental contaminants like dust mites, bed bugs, allergens, dust + dirt.
In short, everyone. Mattress protectors are a must-have for keeping spills and potential allergens from damaging your sleep environment. They’re especially vital if you have kids.
We’re admittedly biased towards Purple’s offerings, but overall, the best mattress protectors should share some common characteristics. They should offer protection from liquids. They should be stretchy. They should be comfortable, soft and quiet, as well as breathable and cool.
You’ll find all of that here with our latest and greatest engineering marvel, the Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector. It isn’t just water-resistant, it’s 100% waterproof for complete peace of mind.
The original Purple Mattress Protector® offers peace of mind through exceptional water + stain resistance, but the all-new Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector takes coverage to the next level with 100% waterproofing and added stretch that flexes seamlessly with movement, enhancing the comfort benefits of the GelFlex Grid within your Purple mattress. Additionally, the Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector comes in a Deep Pocket size for a perfect fit on mattresses taller than 15.5”.
Many of the highest quality versions will last throughout the life of your mattress or even longer. Many companies offer a 1-year product warranty for mattress protectors but look for a mattress protector that comes with a 10-year warranty (like ours).
We recommend washing your mattress protector about once every three months, in addition to any incidental washes needed after a spill. You can also wash it more often if you suffer from allergies, or you’re using your mattress protector on a guest bed that’s used frequently.
Thankfully, The Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector is machine washable and ultra-durable.
The Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector is made of a unique blend of polyester and TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) that’s quiet, crinkle-free and 100% waterproof + stain resistant.
The Purple Waterproof Mattress Protector comes with a 30-day return period! If you find it isn't a perfect fit for you, you have 30 days from the delivery date to return it. For more information, visit our returns page.
